The J. Patrick House Bed & Breakfast is the perfect place for a romantic getaway. We are surrounded by tall Monterey pines, country gardens and water fountains. The main log house has one guest room, Clare. A garden and passion vine-covered archway leads to seven additional rooms in our carriage house. Each is filled with antique furniture, window seat, wood burning fireplace and private bath. Enjoy the unique decor of your room surrounded by Irish country comfort and amenities. You may choose to enjoy a relaxing massage in the privacy of your room.

Savor the cuisine of Cambria’s famous restaurants and the area’s internationally recognized wineries. Discover art galleries, antique shops and quaint gift stores. Tour the remarkable Hearst Castle. Experience the beautiful countryside. Hike, bike or kayak. Explore the magnificent shoreline, visit the tide pools or watch the fascinating elephant seals, sea otters and whales.

Enjoy a selection of wine and hors d’oeuvres in the early evening and ‘Killer" chocolate-chip cookies and milk before bedtime. Each morning a delicious full breakfast awaits you in the Garden Room. Begin with fresh squeezed Orange Juice and a hot beverage. A starter of local fruit is served with homemade granola, fresh local raisins and delicious yogurt. A hot entree follows with fare such as Apple Pie Bread Pudding with Creme Fraiche, Blintzes with Olallieberry Jam or Chili Corn Soufflé to name a few.
